UAT / LIVE Testing Methodologies

This workshop is recommended for all TrendCare Coordinators and may also be helpful for IT staff who support the TrendCare System on-site. When software upgrades or patches are sent to sites, they should be tested in UAT and tested again when applied to the live system.

Workshop Description

This 3-hour workshop provides TrendCare Coordinators with the knowledge and skills to complete the testing required when a site receives a scheduled upgrade and/or a patch to the TrendCare software.

Learning Outcomes

  • An understanding of the basic principles of compliance testing

  • Ability to test a copy of the live TrendCare System in UAT

  • Ability to conduct a baseline test of the TrendCare software

  • An understanding of how to test changes provided in patches and upgrades

  • Ability to test HL7 messages coming into the TrendCare System

  • Ability to test imports from third-party software, such as roster systems and HRM

  • Ability to test exports to dashboards, menu systems, etc
