Allied Health Registers and Reporting Workshop

This workshop is recommended prior to using the TrendCare functions related to Allied Health services, or for any site requiring re-training in the TrendCare functions related to Allied Health services due to staff turnover.  Some pre-workshop preparation meetings are required for the initial implementation of TrendCare into an Allied Health. These meetings include scoping information regarding the Allied Health activities by health disciplines.

Workshop Description

A one-day training workshop covers the maintenance setup and use of the Allocate staff function for allied health, the Allied Health Intervention register and Allied Health Handover. Associated reports are also explained, and some examples displayed. A follow up reports interpretation workshop is recommended once an organisation is using the system consistently.

Learning Outcomes

  • An ability to setup and maintain the Allocate Staff screens for all allied health disciplines and specialities.

  • An ability to set up and maintain the Allied Health intervention register for all allied health disciplines and specialities.

  • An ability to develop maintain and update comprehensive banks of allied health activities, consumables, gym activities and patient group sessions.

  • An ability to develop a customised handover for the allied health service.

  • An ability to understand and use all sections of the allied health intervention register, including the tracking of activities not completed.

  • An ability to update the pre-set predicted times for activities using the evidence collected on actual activity times in the TrendCare system.

  • An ability to add allied health notes to the customised handover and how to view the handover.

Workshop Delivery Methods

The workshop is best delivered on site, however an option to deliver remotely would be considered/negotiated if sufficient scoping work was completed between the TrendCare Consultants and the organisation beforehand.
