Multi-disciplinary Clinical Handovers

Objective

This solution aims to:

• Provide comprehensive, up-to-date information to enable effective clinical handovers for nursing, allied health and medical staff.

Reports generated

A variety of patient lists and clinical handover reports are available.

These include:

• clinical handover reports (a selection of 12 optional designs) with notes specific to the patient, which can be entered on a shift only or ongoing basis by nursing staff
• clinical handover report for medical staff highlighting patient situations, associated background information and actions (all actions on this report are listed in order of priority)
• a range of patient handover sheets and lists are available for allied health and other services.

All handover reports are automatically updated in real time via HL7 messaging when patient details are changed in the patient management system.
